  2019ലെ ചില സുഖകരമല്ലാത്ത നിമിഷങ്ങൾ താണ്ടിയാണ് ഞാൻ 2020ൽ എത്തുന്നത് അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ എനിക്ക് ഏറെ പ്രതീക്ഷയുള്ള ഒരു വർഷമായിരുന്നു ഇത്. പ്രതീക്ഷ തെറ്റിക്കാതെ തന്നെ എന്നെ അടുത്തറിയുവാനും സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കാനും ഈ വർഷത്തിന് സാധിച്ചു. തുടക്കത്തിൽ നിരവധി പ്ലാനുകൾ ഉള്ള ഒരു വർഷമായിരുന്നു പിന്നീട് നമ്മൾ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത് അല്ല നടക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് തെളിയിച്ചു തന്നു. വീട്ടിൽ വെറുതെ ഇരിപ്പ്  ഇത്രയും ബോറടിയാണോ എന്ന് തോന്നിയെങ്കിലും സന്തോഷങ്ങൾക്ക് കുറവില്ലായിരുന്നു. ഏറെ ഗുണകരമായി തോന്നിയത് കുടുംബത്തിനൊപ്പം ഇത്രയും അടുപ്പിച്ച്  സമയം ചിലവഴിക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചത് ആണ് ഒരുപക്ഷേ നമ്മൾ മറന്നുപോകുന്ന ചില ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങൾ നമ്മെ ഓർമിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഈ വർഷത്തിന് സാധിച്ചു. കാലം മാറിയത് ഓർമ്മപ്പെടുത്താൻ ആവും പല അന്ധവിശ്വാസങ്ങളും മാറ്റിവയ്ക്കാൻ  ആളുകൾ തയ്യാറായി. ഒരു ചെറിയ വൈറസിനെ അതിനെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടതും പിന്നീട് ഭയം നിശ്ശേഷം നമ്മുടെയുള്ളിൽ നിന്നും മാറുന്നതും അനുഭവിക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു.  പുതിയ ആളുകളെ കാണുവാനോ പുതിയ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുകൾക്ക് തുടക്കമാവാനോ ഈ വർഷം അനുവദിച്ചില്ല എന്നത് സത്യം തന്നെ പക്ഷേ നമ്മുടെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുകൾ ബലപ്പെടുത്തുവാനും അവരെ വീണ്ടും ഓർക്

ജൂൺ മാസത്തിലെ തണുത്ത കാറ്റും ചൂട് ചായയും മുന്നിലുള്ളപ്പോൾ സാധാരണ ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു തപ്പൽ ഭാമയ്ക് വരാത്തതാണ് പക്ഷേ രാവിലെ സ്കൂളിൽ നടന്നത് അവളെ വലാതെ അലോസരപ്പെടുത്തി. പഴയ പുസ്തക കെട്ട് വിൽക്കണമെന്ന് കുറെ ഏറെയായി അമ്മ പറയുന്നു വേണ്ടുന്നത് വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടേ മാറ്റിവെചച്ച് അത് ഒന്ന്  തരപ്പെടുത്താൻ ഭാമ തൻറെ പേന താഴെ വെച്ച് പോയി. പഴയ പുസ്തകകെട്ടുകൾ ഓരോന്നായി അഴിച്ചു തരംതിരിച്ച്  കെട്ടുകയായിരുന്നു ഭാമ, അപ്പോഴാണ് ഒരു ഡയറി കയ്യിൽ തട്ടിയത്. പണ്ടെന്നോ കത്തിക്കാൻ വെച്ചതിൽ ഇതുമാത്രം സൂക്ഷിച്ചു വെച്ചത്  പൂർണ്ണമാകാത്ത എന്തോ ഒന്ന് കുറിച്ചിടാൻ ആകും, തൻറെ പഴയകാല ഓർമ്മയിലേക്ക്  ഓരോ വഴിയിലൂടെയും മടങ്ങി. കോളേജ് വിട്ടാൽ എന്നാൽ നേരെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് ഓടുന്ന പതിവായിരുന്നു ഭാമയ്ക്ക്. എന്നും ബസ് കയറാൻ താൻ നിൽക്കുന്നിടത്ത് സ്ഥിരമായി ഒരു മുഖത്തെ കണ്ടുതുടങ്ങി, ഭാമയുടെ നിഗമനം തെറ്റിയില്ല മൂന്നാംപക്കം ചെക്കൻ വന്നു ഇഷ്ടമാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ഇതൊക്കെ കോളേജ് ലൈഫിൽ സ്ഥിരം കാഴ്ചയാണ് എന്ന് ഭാമയ്ക്ക് അറിയാമായിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ അവൾ മറുപടിയൊന്നും കൊടുത്തില്ല. പക്ഷേ മൂന്നുമാസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും അവളെ വിട്ടുപോകാൻ ഞാൻ ആ മുഖം കൂട്ടാക്കിയില്ല. ബസ്സിലും എ

ഒരിക്കലും സ്വന്തമാവില്ല എന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും നമ്മൾ ആശിക്കാറുണ്ട്. അതിപ്പോ ആശിക്കാൻ പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് കാശ് കൊടുക്കുവോന്നും വേണ്ടല്ലോ. അങ്ങനെ ആശിച്ചത് ഒന്നും ലഭിക്കാതെ ജീവിതം മുന്നോട്ട് തള്ളി നീക്കുവായിരുന്നു രമണൻ. കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ജോലി വാങ്ങി വലിയ മെച്ചം ഒന്നുമിലെങ്കിലും നാട്ടുക്കാരുടെ ജോലി ഒന്നുമായിലെ!! എന്ന ചോദ്യം കേൾക്കണ്ടല്ലോ!  അങ്ങനെയിരിക്കെ എന്നും വൈകിട്ട് ചായ കൂടിക്കാൻ കേറുന്ന കടയിൽ വെച്ച് ഒരു കുട്ടി വന്ന് രമണനോട് പരിചയം പുതുക്കി. രമണൻ പഠിച്ച കോളേജിലെ ജൂനിയർ പെൺകുട്ടി ഒരു ശാലീന സുന്ദരി ചന്ദ്രിക. പിന്നീട് അങ്ങോട്ട് പലയിടത്തും ഇരുവരും അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായും അല്ലാതെയും കണ്ട്മുട്ടി. ശനിദോഷമുള്ള ചന്ദ്രിക എല്ലാ ശനിയാഴ്ചയും വരുന്ന ശിവ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ വെച്ച് പിന്നീട് ഇരുവരും സ്ഥിരമായി കാണാനും സംസാരിക്കാനും തുടങ്ങി. ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഒരു മാറ്റം വേണമെന്ന് അഗ്രഹിച്ചിരുന്നപ്പോ കണ്ട്മുട്ടിയത് കൊണ്ടാവാം അതും അലെങ്കിൽ കാരണം ഇല്ലാതെ എന്തോ രമണൻ ചന്ദ്രികയിൽ അക്ഷർഷണനായി. ഇഷ്ടം തുറന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ രമണനെ കുറച്ച് നടത്തിചെങ്കിലും ഇരുവരും നല്ല അത്യുഗ്രൻ പ്രേമത്തിലാണ്. ചെറിയ ചെറിയ പിണക്കങ്ങളും അതു കഴിഞ്ഞ വരുന്ന് ഇണക്കങ്ങളും അതിലെറെ
